Teaching on an Arabic admin panel when the documentation is in English

Before a session we ask which language your back end is set to. A WordPress or Joomla dashboard switched to Arabic relabels itself and runs right to left, while the plugin documentation, the forum answer and the error message can stay in English. Teach only the Arabic name of a screen and the trainee is stuck the first time they look something up alone. So we name each screen twice as we open it, write the menu path in the notes in both languages, and take the screenshots from the panel you actually use.

Practice runs on a copy of your own site, not a demo, because what makes people freeze is their own content. Everyone is given something to break and mend: an image that will not sit where it should, a form that refuses what they typed, a menu item that vanishes when the panel is switched over. We stay on each until the trainee finds the fix, and the notes they leave with are their own rather than a manual prepared in advance.

We train on your machines, with the account you will really be working in, not an administrator one borrowed for the day, and with your own keyboard layout and browser language, which decide which half of the site opens first and how easily you switch into Arabic mid-form. Sessions run in Arabic, English or the mix a room here speaks, at our office in Dubai Internet City or at yours.
